2-20-11 Ocean was pretty nasty early this morning,actually stayed that way most of the day.Winds just never let up.Current was ripping early also with 16oz.of lead needed to stay in the zone.Fishing was better than we seen the past two trips.We did some bouncing around and slowly picked away at the cods,few lings and lots,and lots of the elusive spiny dogfish.The dogs were actually a bit of a problem today,I think we would have even caught more if there were not so many of them around.At the end we had some guys with three keeper cods,some with two,some with one,and only few guys who did not catch a keeper.High hook had three keepers and 15 shorts.Pool fish around 7-8lbs.A decent day considering the conditions.Check out some pics.

2-18-11 Wind held off for us today,stayed pretty nice most of the day.Just had a decent size ground swell arrived halfway through the day.Fishing was slow again today,we had maybe twenty keeper Cods on the boat along with maybe 30-40 shorts.Al from The Cal took home the five dollar pool and 335 bucks,and Rocky C took home the ten with 450 bucks!!Not to shabby huh?Maybe 15 so ling,some eels and some grey growlers.Tomorrow is not looking good with a gale warning up.

2-17-11 Very nice ocean conditions again,all day it lasted.Good size crowd showed up to take advantage of it to,fishing though was not what we have had this week,much slower.Just not a good bite for whatever reason.Only maybe twenty keeper Cods the whole day on the boat.Maybe 30-40 shorts.High hook had three,but most had none or one.Maybe a dozen to fifteen ling.The pool fish went about 8 lbs,and took home a jumbo pool of 645 bucks!!!!!Sal had it the last stop of the day and nailed two keepers at the end one being the winner.Tomorrow is looking good,see ya in the morning.

2-16-11 Another good day,a little lumpy in the afternoon but good fishing and nice ocean conditions most of the day.High hook had five keeper cods.Low hook had one and a few got only shorts.We still had over 50 keeper cods on the boat.Maybe as many shorts.So overall most did well.Check out some pics,tomorrow is looking good.
