DAILY FISHING REPORT FOR OCEAN EXPLORER

12-29-11 Fishing was a bit on the slow side today.I kinda figured this with that big ground swell from yesterday.The bow did get into some fish today.They seemed to be getting bites most of the day especially in the afternoon.Couple of the guys up there had five keepers each.Few had 1-3.Rest of the boat struggled and did not have much life except an odd keeper here and there.Some shorts mixed in.Dogfish were pain,but we got the day in and some caught some fish.Tomorrow looks pretty good ,see ya then!!!!

12-27-11 Despite a nasty weather forecast for today it stayed nice.Never blew to hard and the ocean stayed pretty decent up until the end.Then the southerly started blowing and the rain started but by then we were on our way home.Fish were chewing again and some hammered the fish pretty good.Few caught limits plus,few had 3-4 etc...Again some just got stuck all day and sacrificed tackle,just had no luck but overall it was a decent chew,mostly up in the bow.Biggest fish of the day was not in the pool around 4-5 lbs.guessing.The forecast for tonite into tomorrow looks pretty grim with a large south swell building then hard out of the northwest tomorrow.I would suggest waiting to go out tomorrow.Thursday looks good.See ya then.

12-26-11 The wind did blow hard today but the ocean was nice.Not to cold either.Stayed shallow and caught some fish.Danny had high hook with seven keepers,another in the back had five.Some had two or three but alot of people struggled today.It was tough,some of the spots I fished.Tough I mean sticky.We lost some tackle!Spots were sticky and if you moved your sinker around at all today you were stuck!!So overall for a decent crowd some did well and some did not.Pool fish went around five pounds I would say.Dececnt action on the shorts,you just had to keep from getting stuck today to be succesful.See ya tomorrow,it looks nice!!!

12-25-11 Merry Xmas everyone!!!I wish you and your family the best this holiday season!!!!As for fishing we are not out today,I have actually had off the whole weekend!!!The boat did make it out yesterday but that is all in the past and tomorrow is a new day.The winds are going to be gusty tomorrow but the good news is that it will be out of the Northwest and the ocean should be very nice since we are still fishing in shallow waters!!!So we are back out on the fishing grounds tomorrow and everyday thereafter including New Years Eve and New Years Day!!See ya and Merry Xmas!

12-23-11 Another nice day.Flat calm besides a small ground swell and no rain.Fish were there also,just some were on there game and some just had no luck today.High hook had over a limit,some had 3,4,5,and some just one and some none.The story of the day is the fish that were broken off,we had some pigs on that even got the best of Blackfish Bobby!!!!I watched some others to that were shaved off on the rocks to that were quite large.Overall a nice day,tomorrow we are fishing!!!We should be back by three.
