Ocean Explorer Fishing report, Belmar 10-15
Daily Fishing Report From Captain Bobby Quinn
10-15-11 Started out with a nice morning but that quickly fell to pieces. It got windy like it was supposed to,but as the wind increased it came a little bit out of the south and the swell got pretty large. It made it a bit rolly on the anchor.Never got rough, but inbetween the wind and the swell it made it for a long day.Fishing needless to say was no good.A few keeper togs, some chops, and some very nice sea bass we had to throwback. Not a good day.But at least we were out.See ya tomorrow.
10-11-11 Started out this morning with a Ne breeze around ten knots.A bit choppy, not to bad though.Anchored up and had some decent life quick, perch life that is.Few porgy, couple small togs.Next drop we picked at the porgy, some keeper blackfish.Nothing that good though, unless you call throwing back XL Sea Bass back good.Wow,did that hurt.Double header Jumbos, hope they stick around. In the end some guys had maybe ten keeper chops, and some only had a couple. Some had keeper togs, some really did not have much to show either.Tomorrow is not looking favorable, guys winds out of the east.I guess we will take a look at it in the morning.
