1-11-12 The nice weather today,and the nasty weather forecasted for tomorrow brought out the crowd today.We were busy on deck with a decent size crowd to get out and get in some fishing before the blow tonite.Fishing started out slow for us,areas that have been productive for us were slow this morning.Made some different drops and got dialed in on some decent fishing considering the size of the crowd.Each drop late morning on yielded a pick at the ling around the boat.You would see em come up all around with an occasional Tog mixed in.High hooks with the ling had around twenty or so,and down from there.The blackfish would be here and there,not sure what high hook was.Maybe two or three.Few Codish,only a couple of keepers that I saw.Threw back some nice sea bass,some bluefish,lots of eels.Dogfish were not a problem today.Pool fish went around six,and seven pounds(blackfish).The ten dollar yielded 410 bucks while the five dollar yielded around 265.Overall for the big crowd we put a catch together and had very nice day on flat calm seas.Stay at home tomorrow,we will not be shaping up due to the high winds tonite.Call if you are interested in Friday.Now the weekend looks nice!!!
