Ocean City Inlet NJ 7-18

Fished the GE inlet for 2 hours this afternoon. Found a lot of fish around the GH buoy. release more than 20 but had no keepers. I didn't hear of many radio fish either. Most guys on the radio were saying they had 20-30 fish with no keepers. One of my friends, Bill Fels on the Union Meeting stopped by while i was drifting. His grandaughter Allison got a 22 incher on his boat in Ship's Channel on Thursday. M ost of the fish seem to be toward the inlet. Most of the party boats are fishing by the bridge or on the Longport side of the inlet in front of Seaview harbor.

Fished the same areas last Sunday and Monday. Caught many shorts, a few sharks, skate and sea robbin. Of the close to 50 fluke, not one was 18+. Do myou know if anyone is doing better with keepers outside the inlet, and where? Also, I saw only one school of very small bluefish. Is anyone hitting schools to throw spoons at inside 3 mile line?
Finally, have you seen any Croakers yet? I would think with the warm temps, they might be in the bay earlier than normal. My kids like to catch them, and they are pretty good eating
