Ocean City Back Bay stays Hot

Back Bay fishing in Ocean City and Assateuge continues to stay as hot as the temperatures.

Striped bass fishing has been excellant with many throwbacks and a few keepers mixed in on the tide. Most of these fish have been taken on live bait but some are taking lures. Light tackle makes for a lot of fun tangling with these beauties.



Bottom fishing for summer flounder is getting better with some real nice fish being taken home. Throwbacks dominate the catch right now but those that can be taken home are nice quality fish. The bluefish continue to provide some screaming drags on the light set ups. The blues have been in the 20 inch range. Triggers, Taug, spot and croakers have become more and more common as the weather continues to warm.
