OC flounder

fished friday saturday sunday and monday, probably only 2 hours each day. ended with 8 keepers to 19.5" most caught in less than 3 feet of water and some as shallow as 1. All on jigged bucktails tipped with squid. Was actually casting and catching them retrieving when the tide died or wind was against tide and the drift wad dead. Still amazes me to watch a flounder chase a bucktail for 10 feet in 16 inches of clear water or watching them eat a jigged bucktail 2 feet from the pontoon while wathcing your lures. Bunch of throwbacks. didn't matter where we fished as long as it was less than 5 feet deep and the water was a little clear. I'll post a few pics tomorrow.

Didn't seem to matter. I like to hit all of the little out of the way channels that most people can't get to or don't bother to fish. Any slough with 3-6' of water and a bar on one side or preferably both was holding fish. From just north of the 50 on up thru the fare. Here's my dad with a 18.5" caught over by Hooper's.
