November Fishing Update

Here we are, the 2nd week of November, and fall fishing is in full swing. We have had excellent fishing on the sea bass the past few weeks, especially when the weather gave us a break. Some notable catches -

10/19 - Bill Funk charter, limit catch of sea bass and tog
10/20 - Limit catch of sea bass and tog for all anglers on open boat trip
10/21 - Fred Verdi party goes home with 132 fish
10/27 - Limit catch of sea bass and tog for all anglers on open boat trip
10/28 - Mike Pickert charter takes home 110 fish, including a near 2 pound scup
10/29 - Gerry Hagquist party puts all the fish in the box they want (90), then comes in the inlet to see Gerry catch a 33" striper.
10/30 - George Smith and family (including 11 year old Christina) tough out the conditions to catch over 200 fish (bringing home 64)
11/1 - Limit catch of sea bass and tog for the Bob Widdoss party
11/3 - Chased off the ocean by weather at 11:30 am, Guy Czyzyk party goes home with 116 fish, including a pair of 2 pound plus scup caught by Dayne
11/5 - 127 fish for the Bill Potts charter
11/6 - Limit catch of sea bass for Vin Kugler
11/7 - 55 fish for the 3 person Tommy Payne party, including tog limit to 5 pounds
11/8 - 81 fish for the Chris Hogan party, including Chris' 12 pound bluefish

The sea bass have begun moving offshore, and I hope to get one more lick on them this weekend. Then, starting next Tuesday, I will be tog fishing pretty much every day the weather allows through Christmas. I'm looking forward to it!
