No Love At The M & M

Yesterday afternoon I took my newly re-powered Yamaha out for a test run and a little fishing at the Merrimac Monitor Bridge Tunnel. I did not want to go far in case there were any issues with the new engine so I dropped in at the Peterson Yacht Basin in Newport News which is very close to the M & M. The ski ran great but the fish did not cooperate. I cast around the rocks and even trolled under the bridge around the piles looking for some Striped Bass. I have had a pretty good run of catching recently so I was due a skunk trip. Still had a good time and it was nice to have the ski with a windshield back now that it is getting a little cooler. Of course I took a couple pics while I was out.
