NJ Striped Bass Regs.

New Jersey Striper regs. for 2006 were to be voted on up in Trenton today. They are calling for 2 @ 28" or greater and the bonus tag program to go back to what it was before. Haven't heard how the vote came out. Guess it will hit the press tomorrow.

I haven't heard yet either. As soon as I do I'll post it!

Passed the Senate (38-0) and the Assembly (76-2). It should be to the Governors office by tomorrow for signing.

Well, here it is boys. I have the news paper in my had right now. Its in the AC. Press, SPORTS page D6 bottom center. Passed the Senate last week and yesterday the Assembly approved the bill 76 to 2. Gov. Codey is to sign the bill within the week. So for 2006 Striped Bass regs are 2 @ 28" or greater.

Two Striped Bass @ 28" or greater is NOW LAW in NEW JERSEY. I found a news letter in the Nj fish and wild life website. It says that Gov. Codey has signed the bill into law.
