NJ Governor's Beach Tournament- Island Beach St Park

Has anyone that fished this tournment in the past got any good advice or comments about going down there on October 5? I have no interest in going if it's going to be a shoulder to shoulder tangle-fest. But it sounds like fun on the web site. What's the straight poop?

It def does get a little crowded but there is 14 miles or beach to fish so it is not that bad.. if you want to come down bro let me know.. i will enter and fish with ya.. i got my truck or we could take your truck or whatever..

if you want to do it let me know.. been running the beach for a week so far now and fished twice.. lost a big bass on the first trip and got a small 25 incher last night..

i drive up and down the beach a few days and week looking for troughs and cuts and holes..

i am down if you want to do it.. let me know.. will start tieing rigs!!!
