Went fishing at Ponder lodge in the Villas with his daughters Katlyn, Mackenzie and Pop Pop. Ponder lodge was a golf course once owned by the schlitz brewing company. A really nice course in its day now is owned by the state of NJ and the lodges are run down and have felt the affects of vandals. The course has gone back to mother nature.
The Lake on the other hand is still a hidden gem as Tim and the girls found out. It's a bit of a walk to get to the lake about a 1/2 mile or so but well worth it.
Total on the day the girls and pop pop ended up with 15 large mouths and 1 nice crappie. What a day on the water, but that wasn't even a day it was only 2 hours. The girls had a blast and Tim and his Dad made lasting memories.
Most of the fish were about a lb or 2 with Katelyn catching the biggest around 2 lbs. Bigger fish lurk in the shadows, and Tims sure there are some bruisers to be had, when some recon can be done on the lake. The girls were having to much fun to let dad do any searching. Enjoy the pics.
