On Monday the blackfish (tautog) daily bag limit for anglers will expand from one fish to six fish. The size limit remains the same at 14 inches.
The blackfish fishing has been good on the reefs. The limit was 1 fish since July, but party boats report that anglers are able to catch 1 and release more on a lot of days.
The 6 limit will be in effect until Dec 31
