Sea Horse Party Boat Fishing Report, Atlantic Highlands, NJ, 9-25-10

    Friday (9/24/10)

Hey Guys, Todays fishing was not quite what we`ve had the past few days. Still not a bad day out though. We had some Sea bass and blackfish with the porgies making up the majority of the catch. Our pool winner was Frank Roerich, from Old Bridge, with a nice 4lb. Sea Bass.

Dorothy B Fishing Report, Atlantic Highlands, NJ, 9-25-10

    FRIDAY SEPT. 24 REPORT

New jersey Charter boat and bait and tackle reports, 9-24-1.jpeg

We had a decent day of fishing today, landing some nice keeper fluke and a ton of throwbacks. The water was calm, but the temperature a bit cooler than on land.
Ted Sabo of Spotswood took the pool with his 7 pound flattie and boated a 3 pounder as well. Hi hook went to Joe Mattis with 3 keepers, 2 3 pounders and a 2 pounder. Rafael Riveria Jr. of Brick also landed a nice 3 pound flattie. There were also quite a few 2 pound fluke caught today.
    VIP goes to Ted Sabo.

Fluke were not the only fish on the menu today,as Sea Bass made a nice showing. There were more than a dozen Sea Bass landed, including a monster weighing in at 3.2 pounds. Crew did not take a picture, so if you did please e-mail to me so that I can put it up.

We will continue to fish for fluke until the end of September, hope to see you at the boat.

Ocean Explorer Fishing Report, Belmar, NJ, 9-25-10

9-24-10 The sun never really made an appearance today, kinda like spring time with the fog most of the day.The fish were chewing again today, not quite as good as the previous days but still pretty decent.Bites around the boat most of the time, the bow probably did not fare out as well as the rest of the boat but most everyone did ok,some better than others obviously and high hooks had about 15 keeper sea bass.Low hooks had again 4-5.Overall for a good crowd it was good.Tomorrow is looking great again, take advantage of this good weather and calm seas.
