Fisherman's Headquarters Fishing Report, Ship Bottom, NJ, 9-13-10

Received: Sep 12, 2010 5:37 PM Subject: Fwd: Reel Fantasea Fishing Charters
ALBIES, ALBIES, ALBIES! The false albacore have made their present known BIG TIME. This week we started seeing inshore albies within a stones throw from the beach all the way out to the Ridges and lumps. False albacore could be one of the fastest and most amazingly power fish that swims and taken on light spinning and conventional tackle they are one of my most favorite gamefish. If singing drags and long runs are your passion than now is the time to GO! And with stripers, blues, seabass, blackfish, blowfish, kingfish, spot, croakers, and weakfish added to the mix Reel Fantasea Fishing Charters with be looking for Atlantic Grand Slams (albie or bonito, striper, bluefish, and weakfish) on all trips. The weather has been cooperating and so have the fish so join in on the Fun !

Sea Horse Party Boat Fishing Report, Atlantic Highlands, NJ, 9-13-10
Sunday Report (9/12/10)
Hey Guys, Fished the reef and the rocks all day, very rough, NE 20-25, double anchored all day. Very slow pick on the sea bass, porgies we could see on the machine, but they just wouldn`t bite. Average 6-10 fish per person to go home with. Pool fish is just about always a blackfish. Conditions can only get better. See ya on the dock!

The weekend produced some decent catches with most of the fluke in the 3 and 4 pound range. No new pics, but want to mention some catches
T. Salerno of Keyport 2 fluke 2 & 3 lbs
Jake Williamson 3 lb, Robert Mood of Newton a 3 and 4 pounder, John DeRosa of Chatham 3 pounder, Alexi Lamb (Pat's grand daughter) of Westfield, had a 2 and 3 pounder, Scott Schimansky of West Caldwell had a 2 pounder, Todd Schmidt had a 3 pounder.
Yesterday 4 pounders were landed by Dan Walker, Matt Higgins and Sharon Prentiss (who also had a 2 & 3 pounder as well), Ross Marglies had 2 fish weighing 5 lbs and Steven Frango had a nice 3 pounder. If I have missed anyone, I apologize.
Didn't make the afternoon trip as weather was crappy and the Harbor was barren.
VIP spot is of yesterday's catch by Sharon with Dan and Ed. Way to go Sharon.
The crew and I will be there in the morning to start our 3/4 day trips in search of the big fluke. Come on down and keep us company.
