Nasty Weather but the Tog still Bite

Went out yesterday 11/30 with Chad Hacker from 'Tagged Fish Charters' out of Sandy Hook, NJ with Steve (Shamrocker) in less than favorable conditions. Wind was SE at 20 with higher gusts and seas 6-8' with occasional wave breaking against the boat and the boat sat great on the hook. However, Chad was able to get us on a good piece off Monmouth Beach. It was hard to feel the togs chewing with the big heave but we managed to limit out with tog to 9 lbs. A great day considering the conditions. Ride back was nice and his new boat rode great in the big following sea. Give Chad a call and he will put you on the Togs. His boat is a 38' Cheasepeake Dead Rise style boat with a huge cockpit and his number is 732-895-7830.

Some nice fish you got there. My boat is hitting the hard this weeks so it will be charter and party boats for me for the rest of the season.

    Thanks for the report.
