My Sunday Striper Experience (not exciting)

Started out of PP about 630 and decided to head south. Much like everyone else, marked bunker but again it was very sporadic. It appeared that there was something harassing the bunker but nothing really produced. Headed all the way down to IBSP and it started out as more of the same. Found a few boats with some bird activity and snagged into some decent bunker. Finally got a hit on a snagged bunker and brought it to the boat. Turned out to be a 26lb'r. Nice day on the water, and glad we caught, but like everyone else, i wished the bite would have turned on. It had such potential.

The water temp was the suprising factor. It was registered only 51-52 off of IBSP and almost 65 coming out of the inlet. The shark tournys are in a few weeks and from the looks of it, this water might make it "interesting".

ps. sorry for the cross-post

NJPETE,
I was out there with ya. we left at 4:30 out pp and went out towards seaside/IBSP. Plenty of bait, very cold water. We had one run off and that was it. we worked a couple of other areas and went home around 9:30.
