My biggest ever!

Got this guy on Saturday morning on a big a$$ live mullet in 8 ft. of water. 29" and 10 pounds 12 ounces. Never had a fish mounted before but this one is going on the wall! Only fished for about 3 hours and got 2 more at 19.5" and 20.5" (my wife and a friend caught those). Fished again on Sunday in the afternoon for about 2 hours and had 4 more keepers with the biggest at 23" by me on a live mullet again. I lost another monster on the previous drift cause I was stuck with a spinning rod and couldn't drop back quick enough, that fish almost ripped the rod out of my hands. They hit those big lively mullet like a freight train. I let the big one eat for almost a minute before setting the hook, couldn't even see the hook when i got him on board

NICE fish man! I've got two pens full of mullet but just haven't put the time in to the flatties.

Oh yeah, that bottom pic is from Monday, different trip. Sunday I missed 3 whites and brought home 4 mahi.
