More fish than fishermen?

Some nice fish on the scale again yesterday. Considering how few anglers are out on the beaches, that is some pretty good fishing. Ocean water temps are still about 50ish so we are far from done. The forecast is for less nasty today so get the warm stuff on, get out and have some fun in the sun. Winter is coming in case you haven′t noticed.
This just in from the dartboard at weather central - Partly cloudy and brisk. Highs in the upper 30s. West winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

There are plenty of decent weather days all winter when you would like to be fishing anyway and we do have a resident Bass population. Sure does beat a severe case of cabin fever! I think I know why Mike has been so quiet lately. He must be trying to decide what he is getting me for Xmas!

It ain′t over!
While we are currently suffering a shortage of fishermen, there is no shortage of fish. The cold coupled with the stiff wind has kept the angler population down to nearly none but the fish are still there. We had a couple of guys tough it out yesterday afternoon and they hung some Bass on the scale!
More of the same weather for today. Partly sunny this morning...then becoming mostly cloudy. Windy with highs in the upper 30s. West winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Maybe they should hire some new weather idiots and get a better forecast?
