Montauk Summer Flounder

On Saturday we teamed with with Capt Bart on the Mistress Too for some Big Flounder. My brother Art, Al Colin and I kept 15 jumbo flounder, 2 were 8 lbs each and released another 20 shorts under 17.5 inches in 4 hours of fishing the south side. The brisk Noreaster and accasional 7 footer had us call it a day around noon. Pictures will follow, technical difficulties, the bite just turned on this week which is about 3 weeks late due to the 48 degree water.
We have another trip this weekend.

If you had looked over your shoulder you might have seen me there last week. I went up to help True Blue John settle on and close on a boat. His girlfriend went flattie fishing and had a 12 lost at the net. Still managed a few good ones though...
Now get back to Barnegat and turn on a space heater and runa fan out across the ocean so we can destroy every mako in the atlantic!

28 Mile Wreck Report

My brother Art fished Montauk again on Saturday with Capt Bart on the Mistress Too. They did real well with the Flounder up to 6 lbs.

The Intruder Fished for Sharks on Sunday at the 28 Mile Wreck area with the Brian Neidhardt party. The Spiny Dogfish were hitting every bait and beating the Bluefish to the mackrel strips. WHY WERE THESE FISH RECENTLY PROTECTED,they eat Seabass ? Water was 52 degrees. No signs of Makos or Blue Sharks.

Hola AHI,

We actually met the Captain last week that sold the boat to Capt Bart. Sounds like they did real well on that boat over the years. I was really impressed with that old Hatteras.

Deep C, I would like you to Kill all those Horn Dogs before you get here

The doggies know better than to still be around when I get there. Protected species? You know the kind of love and protection I'd give em... Stock piled some more neeters this week. Just the right size ... Looking so forward to killing cobalt missiles I cant stand it!
