While I await the finishing touches before launching my boat, I will be fishing the opening weekend for Giant Flounder on Saturday. We just dont see big fish like these in Jersey waters. Then the fun begins on Monday when I fly to Miami and fish with my Hero, our own Captain Paul on the Deep C. Pictures to follow.
My brother called me Friday night before the front and reported that the fishing was slow in Montauk on Friday but he got a 4 pounder. We cancelled Saturdays trip and will try again next weekend. Water is 45 degrees.
