Saturday was one of those days where people ask how you did after the trip and everyone who was out looks at each other with a smirk and pauses to hold back the enthusiasm in the response before someone says simply... "It was really good."

Tons of stripers. Bait and fish stacked. Excellent fishing on Saturday.

Fishing Sunday was good. We did a short day in the NE wind that started with bass under birds and ended with solid bluefish action. We had some enormous gators and a few bass mixed in at the end, choosing to enjoy the blues and the bent rods rather than to chase with time running short.

Where were they running right out front ? Were you guys chunking them up, jigging or trolling? We hit some nice ones in OCNJ jigging bucktails right outfront past the breakers. There was a good bit of bait running. Looked like 4 inch or so shiners. I have not seen the big bunker come through anywhere yet. Have you?

Had a great time on board the miss linda, Rob did a great job keeping us on fish all day.... Saturday wasn't a "really good" day, it was an EPIC day.

Thanks again for the great time, my uncle called monday to let me know his arms were sore and how much fun he had.
