It was an absolutely gorgeous day today aboard Miss Belmar! We picked away all day on 8-14 lb fish. We saw them on top occasionally, along with stopping on nice reading's. The weather is looking great for the rest of this week and through out the Labor Day weekend.

Our pool winner was Heidi Crumb from Honesdale, PA with a 16 lb blue.

This morning on the Tropical Adventure, fishing was extremely tough due to Hurricane Irene's recent visit. She definitely stirred up the bottom which caused the fish to not want to bite. The drift was basically non-existent most of the trip due to wind against the tide and an ocean swell fighting the drift as well. We are hoping for better fishing tomorrow and that the ocean bottom will calm and the fish will bite again.
