Saturday,6/6

Saturday was nice sunny day, a pleasure to be on board. Once again lots of new faces, It's always great to meet new people. Maria and Sister Till, along with Tills husband Bruce from upstate N. Y.. Chris and Mat from Tabernacle. Scott (a bam bam bigalow look alike) Tom, Eric and Ken from PA.. Ann and Mike (oh no not another Mike, I can't keep track of them) From Brick. Ok now the fishing, once again lots and lots of shorts, with some keepers in between. Some of the anglers did have five to six keepers, but worked hard to get them. Most fish again in the one to three pound range, with our pool winner Ray from Waretown beating all with a three plus pounder. Nice to see you back Ray.

Sunday 6/7

Boy I hate to write this one. We started out the seas were ok. We fished the first drop again lots of shorts with one or two keepers. Moved around, tried a few more spots, and that's what is was spotty at best, a few keepers here and there. That's the good part. Then the winds kicked up, seas got rough, reel hard to feel the bite. Seas were four to six at times, and reel sloppy. Most fish were only in the one to two pound range, with our pool winner Richie (AKA Admiral Jacka..) taking home the dough with a two plus pound fish. Our biggest fist was again about three plus pounds, but I, I mean the angler is not allowed in the pool ha. (As Captain Frank says even a blind squirrel find an acorn once in awhile) Next week we will be targeting fluke as well as sea bass. Hope to sea you there.
