Saturday 5/8/10

Well maybe the weatherman did a lot of people a favor today, calling for rain that never

came, kept people away, so we sailed with just a handful of people. The wind blew hard in

the morning but nothing like they said it was going to. It starting blowing real hard on our

way back to the dock. This being Mothers Day weekend I guess Mother Nature was upset

with us for going fishing, so she set the dogs on us. (but it is Saturday MOM). OK OK here's

the report....... fishing was horrible....that's all I can say. We once again made our first stop,

anchored, put out chum and nothing. Like last week we went looking for signs of life, but this

week we could not find any. We tried a few spots were birds were hanging out, tried with

jigs, but no takers. Hoping for a repeat of last week, we went back to the top of the

breakers, but it never happened. Sorry I did not get the pool winners name, but his picture

know. One more weekend trying for stripers, blues and drumfish, then Saturday May 22,
