LBI Fishing 6/20/10: Everyone agreed the best thing about today was the food. Fishing was not good. However the shrimp scampi, garlic bread, fresh mozzarella and pepperoni platters we put out for Fathers Day hit the spot with everyone. With the water warming this week, hopefully fishing will improve. There's no fish stories here, if it's bad we'll tell you. We won't make up a big story like other sites, that catch two fish and only say the pool winner was a five pounder. We will tell you like it is.

LBI Fishing 6/19/10: Better late then never, the week just got away from me. We had a great group on the boat today. Lots of new friends, and some old ones came out of hibernation. Nina and Darryl were there for the first time this season, both scoring on the flukes. But they were short . So the long and the short of it is we caught fluke Saturday with the numbers of shorts in the thirties and the number of keepers in the teens.

Note from Sal: Just a reminder that this Sunday is Fathers Days. Why not take dad out for a day of fishing! Dads, why not bring out the family for a day fishing. Weather looks good, it will be something to always remember.
