Did I say Saturday was windy, man oh man you should have been there Sunday. (ok maybe not) Sunday was brutal, but we had anglers who had driven a long way to get here, so Captain Frank said lets give it a try. And that's what we did. After venturing about a mile out the inlet is was very ugly. If we stopped to fish you would have one hand on the rail, and one holding the rod, it would not have been good. Very very rough, but because Captain Frank new some came a long distance he tried. If you haven't guessed by now we turned around. Captain Frank went and explained to everyone what we were doing and they all thought it was the right thing. So all got a full refund, and an I'm sorry, but we just could not control the weather.

Two things 1- Remember to get in touch with Captain Frank for our ten hour sea bass trip on Monday Oct 11, and #2 the galley will be closed Sunday Oct. 3.

Wow what a day. Windy, rough, and a morning chill. But that soon turned to heat after we started catching fish. Our first drop produced lots of fish but not many keepers, so we soon moved. The next drop lots of fish still coming over the rails but Captain Frank was still not happy with amount of keepers. We moved again and holy cow, what a move. Keepers Keepers and more keepers. Many anglers (lots of ladies on board) with a dozen or so keepers. I was told hi hook was sixteen. Mike from Tabernacle Was the pool winner with a four and a half pounder. If there was a second place it would have been him with a three and a half pounder. (see photos) Zack and his Dad from Little Egg had six nice fish. Bill got his sister Peggy out of the house so they could get it ready for here surprise birthday party, Happy Birthday Peggy, these two had over twenty sea bass and a nice trigger fish. Darrin brought his gang along today and they scored big also. Then there was the rowdy group in the bow. This group led by Mary had the bow and owned it. They were there celebrating Shaun 25th. Happy Birthday from the crew of the Miss Beach Haven.
