middle chesapeake bay

Went fishing 11/1/09 , rainy until 2pm.fished from 9am until 1pm and Caught 4 stripers from 18-25". around 83A to 85. We caught the bigger two on 6" storm lures, one on a stretch and one on a umbrella. with only two people on board that was our limit.

I was just curious to see if other people had any luck and what they were using and where. What size shads? we were using 6"? is it too soon for the larger shads?

thanks for the info, and I hope mine helps.

What a difference an inch makes

I have been using 5 inch storms. I occasionally will go to an even smaller size if the bite is non-existant. Just keep trying different things my friend. You will develop your own data base. Thanks for your report!
