Hey Brad ,
I think that is what the people at the oceans pines meeting were voting for but I don,t think it has passed yet . They are supposed to decide by March 6th they say . Me and Noah were hoping for open year round for the offshore wreck thing . Oh well we should have gone to the meeting .

In Virginia, there is no closed season; however there is another increase in the minimum size requirements. Anglers may keep up to five flatfish measuring 19-inches or greater, which is up from last year’s 18.5-inch minimum.

Its official !!! the DNR has it on there site now 3@18 with closed season Sept 15 -April 13 . There goes our fall season on the wrecks ...

I had a brand new rod built I didnt even wet last year....made it just for flounder.....Its coming out this year no matter what

Not happy about the closed season, at all. I feel bad for the guys who book a lot of Flounder charters in the fall who are now SOL.
