Event: Marine Fire Protection & Hands-On Fire Extinguisher Training - 9:00AM to 3:00PM

Description: Marine Fire Protection is a course designed specifically for CAPCA to provide education on fire safety. This course will cover the latest boating statistics, fire loss information, marine fire causes and fire protection. Further information will be presented on fire suppression systems, agents and techniques. The final portion of the class will be a live fire demonstration allowing participants an opportunity to utilize extinguishers. $100.00 per person. ($85 for CAPCA members in good standing) Course cost includes continental breakfast and lunch. Space is limited. Walk-ins accepted on the day of the seminar (space permitting) with a $5 surcharge. Actual fires will be set (in a contained environment) and each attendee will be able to extiguish a fire hands on. Great experience for captains and crew!
