    Thumbs up Lynnhaven inlet FLATTIES

the inlet is loaded with them right now.. caught a nice limit and released another 30 from 7-1 today.. the best bite was on a bare hook and a 4" gudgeon fished 12 " from bottom, followed by a small white squid, small spinner and a fresh strip bait about 4"... the biggest fish I caught were in less than 5' of water with shells, and the most fish were 10-15', but lots of those were close but not the 18" I set for my minimum.. fish the channel edges, the dropoffs, around all the bends in the inlet...I see this bite every year in there and it wont last too long... the fish will still be in there but more spread out and not quite so hungry... get them while its fairly easy and fun!!!!! take a kid!!! good luck!
