Long Time Com'n was one of many boats looking for trophy rockfish in the annual spring Maryland Sportfishing Association tournament. We fished out of Solomon's Island all three days with the same team of anglers. There was one real big fish brought in duirng the tournament--over 50 pounds--which is extraordinary for these waters, but it wasn't caught by us--unforutnately. But we did bring in some good keepers and some we weighed in to get on the boards. We caught about 8 nice fish each day and kept about half of them. The party will have fish in the freezer for awhile at that rate. Our biggest striper was 48 inches long and weighed in at 28 pounds.
