Local club meeting - VA

The next meeting of the Bull Island Anglers Club will be Monday September 27th at 7pm. The meeting will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Poquoson, Va. The address is 1294 Poquoson, Ave. The meeting is free and open to the public.

This month's speaker will be Capt. David Hester (aka Surfrat), he will be discussing his techniques for catching speckled trout. We've all read the reports and have seen the numbers and size of the trout that he catches. On the 27th he will share his knowledge of our local area and the lures he uses to catch those monster trout we all seek. Capt. Hester is a guru on the Elizabeth River, as well as other popular local trout areas, and the Outer banks. If you ever wanted to learn about trout fishing, this is the meeting to attend.

We will also discuss the upcoming Poquoson Seafood Festival Fishing Tournament during the business section of the meeting.
