Less than stellar crabbing day on the Magothy 8-19

Buddy of mine and I hit the Magothy with 30 traps and 600' of freshly baited line. Crabbed from 6:45 to about 12:30 with only 11 keepers and one log/tree stump to show for our effort. Hard days work for very little payout!

Did see alot of people crabbing including two commercial guys running some long lines near the mouth

you are right buster crab...the mouth of elk is loaded this time of year, mouth of sassafras is catching really well, as all points south on the eastern side....so many up here now, they are only keeping the jumbo caught on Delaware Bay croakers in pots....60/ noon...60/ dark = pickin
