Fished sat. 9/9 from the mouth of the Patapsco River into the Key Bridge. Got a late start and didn't get a line wet until 7:45, started trolling just in front of Bethleham Steel and headed towards 7' Knoll. Marked lots, and i mean lots of fish. Picked up a FAT 11" white perch and had 2 other hits but they didn't come tight. All came just on the south side of 7' knoll in 18-28 ft of water. Decided to try live lining for the first time so I headed just outside the Key Bridge and set up on the channel going into the BS Drydocks. My dad had his perch bit in half 2 times and decided to put a stinger hook on. Out it goes and then the blues decided that they wanted to bite em in half. Eventually used the dozen of perch we had and called it a day at 2:00pm as the boat traffic was getting ridiculous. Even though we only caught 1 fish it was still a great day on the water, could not of asked for a better day. Also was great to fish with my dad again as he has not fished with me since the 2004 MSSA offshore tournament and we won the bluefish division.
Allan I sent you an e mail... glad you got out and at least had some action. Time with pop is surely treasured time, I try to fish with pops as much as possible.
