Whew what a summer!!!!!! When you got kids you stay busy. 13 yr old daughter has gotten juvenile diabetes, man I pray they find a cure for that. Then the youngest who has a heart cond. was having chest pains. And a couple of more things not worth mentioning. We are not the kind that likes all this dramma and stuff, and we are saying our prayers every day, oh well just another bump in road of life LOL. This is why i haven't been able to post any reports, sorry. OK now to the good stuff. Spades, haven't even seen one, I fish wolf trap alot for em and haven't even seen anyone else catch any either. I was talking to a friend of mine that fishes the same and he said the same. Blues, been catching them trolling clark spoons on a number one planer, I was also running a small bird topwater rig I made up and not a hit, all have been on the planer. I heard about a big one 8+, that was confirmed. I haven't done much at the cell or 42 for flounder, have heard of alot but I haven't seen the proof (just like the spades). Croaker have been in short supply also. We did catch a few flounder in the Rapp. but no keepers. The Mac's oh yea they are there, now we have been catching them at 6.5 knots with just a few blues mixed in any slower and all blues and faster and nothing. We just about caught our limit of mac's in 30 min a couple of weeeks ago, thanks to my wife who was driving for the first time, she can read the fish finder alot better that me and kept us on em till they scattered, great job. Now for the best....been chumming a little been picking up some BIG rays and a few sharks have had some major break offs but that is going to end this weekend (power pro). Every time I have been seeing cobia but can't get one hooked, 4 weeks ago I did hook one and he broke off by going by the prop. cut the line like a knife. 2 weeks ago BANG 39 1/2" in the box baby. What a thrill first cobia in the Bay. I am going to try it again Sat. too.
I have pics but have to get them dev., and my son works at a camera shop , what is up with that? Guess Il'l go to wal-mart LOL. When I get em done I will have to post em, But will prop. have to ask wahoonbox how to. All this is mid to lower bay VA side. Will try to post next week after we get back.

My 9 year old was diagnosed with diabetes at age 18 months. I would highly recomend a insulin pump. It is a God send. All you have to do is tell it the amount of carbs in a meal and it calculates the insulin for you. Alll you do is press a few buttons. Let me know if you need any further info. I know what you are going through. They are on the cusp of finding a cure. At least within our kids lifetime.

Thanks BOX! Once again the compassion shown by members of this board is incredible. Box if you ever want some lite tackle top water rockfish action on the flats and creeks off Poquoson let me know. The best part is end of October thru November. They aren't the beasts, but solid 20"-26" fish. 2500 stradics with a medium action pole and 8lb line. Don't get much better than that!

Usually you see some. That is a touchy subject. THe one side of the river is bordered by Hampton and one cannot hunt in Hampton. The other side is bordered by Poquoson and you may hunt in Poquoson. Of course if the deer is chased from the Hampton side to the Poquoson side then it would be fair game. Not that that is done much

this past weekend hmmmm nothing got to the boat just in time to keep it from comming down on the pillings, she is on dry land for a while. Got Bdays all month for the kids then the first of Oct. yeeee haaa Striper season (wouldn;t mind a stripper season either ) Hey Wahoo can't wait to see the vid of your rig either

sorry to hear about the little ones....i do a walk to cure juvinile diabities every year i raise atleast 300 dollars every year with sponsors too.....my girlfriend has juvinile diabites and she has the pump...i have to clue how it works but its the size of a pager....she said she reccomend using them its very very easy
