IF YOU COULDN'T GET OUT YESTERDAY---you missed one of the best days of the summer for seabass---on the Last Lady we had non stop action with seabass. We also released small blackfish and caught a few nice porgies. Had to cancel the Last Lady II as the ocean was too bumpy. Just as the sea bass fishing is getting good closer to home---the gov't shuts the season till Nov 1. Last year when it opened again they were far offshore in Nov. The water is still very warm and we will schedule inshore seabass in Nov if they are there.
FLUKE----We are on the down side of the moon and the stiff current we have been having will be slowing down. Also the water is cleaning up a lot. Look for good fluke fishing till the season closes.
BLUEFISH----finally they are here--We can chum the slammers finally---close to the boats
TUNA--canyon--reports from the boats this past weekend---BEST FISHING IN YEARS--bait and jigs---CALL FOR SPECIAL PRICED TRIPS to canyon
COD/POLLACK OFFSHORE---still there and will be going thru the winter
PORGIES---good fishing now
BLACKFISH---wish we could keep them---lot around---only allowed one per person now---season opens Nov 16
