keeper flounder

Well I am happy to report that so far this season I have caught 300 flounder and 5 keepers. Anything that you can attach to a jig head has worked. I even used a freshwater frog on a jig head and the flounder smoke it. I GIVE UP ON BERKLY GLUP ITS TO EXPENSIVE. YOU CAN GO THUR A JAW AND NOT GET A KEEPER. I GUESS IT DEPENDS ON WERE YOU ARE FISHING. ALL MY FISHING IS IN RUDEE. HAVE NOT SEEN OR HEARD OF ANYBODY CATCHING PUPPY DRUM. KEEP CATCHING LARGE CROAKERS AND A FEW SPOT. SO FAR ON TWO SPECKLE TROUT BUT NO KEEPERS. SO FAR THIS SPRING I HAVE SPENT 36 DAYS ON THE WATER. THATS MY REPORT. STILL LOOKING FOR A RIDE TO CATCH A COBIA. MY BUCKET LIST IS SHORT BUT CANT MAKE THE TRIP IN MY SMALL BOAT. CAUGHT ONE STRIPER IN RUDEE GOT OFF AT THE BOAT JUST A THE NET WENT UNDER IT. TIGHT LINES ALL.

JUL 13th 2011. Hot hot hot. Owls creek Rude Inlet got pretty cloudy. Took a young boy name butch he had a ball catching small spot two taylor blues and some small flounder. No keepers again. Lots of fish hitting topwater chasing bait fish.
