Jim Sutphen claimed honors this fall for landing the largest tog of the season at near 12 pounds. Every trip Jim was down for this fall, he and his group went home with their limit. Here is Jim with his slob - The next day Jim's friend Vin Kugler was down and got a good one himself at near 11 pounds. Here is Vin's fish - We had more limit catches than not during the month of December, with most trips seeing mostly 3-6 pound fish with the big fish each day coming in at between 7 - 10 pounds. Mark Dubrueil was down a number of times with me and had a number of these good fish. Here he is with an 8.8 and 6.9 pound fish caught on the same trip. And check out the weather, no hat, no gloves and no jacket! Bob Key also made a few trips down with me to fish late in the year coming out all the way from Lancaster, PA each time. Bob hadn't done much tog fishing until recently, but is a very good fisherman, and he sure learned a lot in the trips he was here, regularly being hi-hook on his trips. He broke his own personal bests on tog 2x, first with an 8.8 pound fish then a couple days later with an honest 9 pound fish. Here he is with his 8.8 and 6.5 pound fish caught on the same trip - Thanks to everyone that fished with me during the 2005 season. I look forward to having you aboard in 2006. |
