The STRIPED BASS are still out there and the 'Just One More' found them yesterday!! We had aboard the Bluefish Bob Donahue charter. We rode around a while looking for bunker schools down the beach, but did not find any. Back to one of my favorite spots in the bay and we started to catch fish right away. By the end of the day, Bob landed the largest striped bass of the day at 38" and near 25 lbs. !! We did not limit out on the bass but had a steady pick. Other run offs were missed. Many bluefish were landed as well as some monster 4' smooth dogfish. So if you want a late shot at striped bass, now is the time to go. Fluke fishing in the bay was one of the best in 20 years according to my friend Capt. Al on the Sea Horse who was first mating that day. 150 keepers and hundreds of throw backs. Now the fluke fishing is really starting to heat up . Time to get out there.

Dates available to charter are: July, 1, 4, 6, 13, 14, 16, 18. There are 2 Sundays in those dates.
