JUMBO SEA BASS AND SLAMMER BLUE FISH ALL IN THE SAME TRIP!! Thursday we had aboard Flounder Bob, Bluefish Bob, and Capt. Jack. We headed off shore a ways and anchored up and chummed. Flounder Bob and Capt. Jack wanted to fish the bottom for sea bass. They had non stop action all day! Too many double headers to keep track of. Very nice fish with some of the biggest weighing 4.5 lbs.!! We had 125 seabass in all and kept around 25 of the largest. Many more were exactly at the limit mark, but we decided to be safe and released them. Bluefish Bob had great action with slammer bluefish while the other 2 guys were catching sea bass. These blues were big and mean and weighed upwards of 15 lbs.!! We also had 3 fluke on the trip and one would have been a nice keeper if the season was open. We also had a 7-8 foot shark come into the slick twice. It swam almost up to the boat but not close enough to pitch a bait to it. He hung around, 2 different times for around 10 minutes. Quite a sight! Couldn't identify it, but the dorsil and tail fins were almost black in color and very thick. The water temperature out there is still 70 degrees!!

Striped bass are being caught right now trolling in between the channels. Keepers as well as shorts and plenty of bluefish for action. Time to go striper fishing!!

Dates available to charter are: September 26-29. October 1-7 and the 10th. THANKYOU.

Attached you will see photos of some of the sea bass and bluefish Bob with one of the slammers.
