Fished on my buddy Vito Manzi's boat today during a shakedown ride in Raritan Bay..... Also along were his daughter Sofia, his brother in law Uncle Jimmy, Jims buddy Joe, and Muscle Man Don.....
motored around after a late start to make sure the boat was ok as this was the spalsh in cruise....
Set up outside the fleet and fished an hour with No results..... made a move of about a 1/4 mile and it was on as soon as we started.... fish came in spurts and they were all Big as R-bay flunndies should be.... ya catch 2 or 3 then wait... over and over..... In 2 hours at that spot we put 25 fish in da box up to 2 1/2 lbs and called it a day..... usual bait - clams and worms, and both caught .....
looks like a wet week so will look foward to saturday again.....
