July BIAC meeting - VA

The next meeting of the Bull Island Angler's Club will be July 28th at 7pm. The meeting will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church. (1294 Poquoson Ave.) We are still able to use the church for meetings. For those that don't know Trinity changed leadership and has a wonderful new preacher.

The topic for July will be flounder. The closed season starts on the 21st of July and ends on the 30th of July. The flounder should be stacked up and easy to catch after the closure. A local Poquosonite has agreed to talk about structure fishing for Flounder with an emphasis on Back River reef. This individual was one of the first people to use the anchoring technique at Back river Reef and has agreed to share the ins and outs of this technique. It should be a very informative meeting.
