FISHING REPORT
Tues Aug 2nd
It sounds like the sharks did not come out to play last night. I don't know if they were a bunch of sissys and afraid of the lightening or if it was the drop of the water temp. As of 12 noon the ocean is 67.
Last night it was a case of raining on one side of the street and not the other. We will have to see if that effected the shark fishing from last night.
Caught on bunker at 9:30 on July31st.

This morning it is refreshing out with a WNW wind at 8 and the temp is 73. The ocean temp is 77.
We have a good fluke report from 60 foot of water. He had been fishing the reef and was doing nothing and decided to run off some. For him it paid off catching 7 fluke with 3 being keepers. The bite in the bay continues right out side many people marinas. Yesterday were lot of fish and lots of shorts all wanting minnows.
We had a angler in restocking on worms and told us that yesterday between three of them they had 24 kingfish.
Mon Aug 1st
Shark week on TV and on L.B.I. Great night on the beach fish for the big guys with bunker and mackeral. These were caught last night before dark but reports we have is that it lasted well after dark. These sharks were caught last night by Nick and he reports that he had one about 8 foot that he just could not get on the beach.
Hard to believe that the ocean temp is 82.
Dark morning on this first day of August. It is hot and muggy. The wind is lite out of the NW and the air is 77 at 5 am.
With the ocean so warm who know what to expect that will be caught in the ocean.Reported to me last night were of croakers being caught in the bay in Margate.
