Jingles Bait and Tackle report 12-1

    Tues Dec 1st

First of December and we still have not have had a freezing temp here on the island. Its came close this morning and I am sure with the wind chill it is.

Air 35 with the water at 52. Wind is SW to W about and building. Rain from last night is gone and they are talking decent day tomorrow and then heavy rain tomorrow night into Thursday.

Weatherman is talking some dirty words for the weekend. Yes coastal low and snow. Will have to see how that plays out.

    Mon Nov 30th

Warm morning about 55 with the water at 52. SW wind about 10 and rain on the way for later today. If they are right!

Holgate had fish again this morning once it got light. Bass and bluefish.

Some of the Holgate fish from Matt and Chris. Chris had 5 bass this morning.

Kurt was in this morning with a bass and blue for weigh-in for the classic.

This is the last week of the derby(surf) with only 1 bass over 40 pounds and one blue over 16. It would not be the first time that the leaders get bumped off at the end of the contest. With the amount of bunker that is still here you never know.
