Fresh bunker this morning and very few clams.

Warm morning about 55 with the water at 52. SW wind about 10 and rain on the way for later today. If they are right!

Lots of guys headed to Holgate this am to see if the action will be there again this morning.

This is the last week of the derby(surf) with only 1 bass over 40 pounds and one blue over 16. It would not be the first time that the leaders get bumped off at the end of the contest. With the amount of bunker that is still here you never know.

Beautiful day! SW wind - water temp 51.

Once again lots of bunker in Holgate with bass and bluefish.

Stu with his first weigh-in of the derby with a 14-9 bass and Don Ingling with a 20-9 bass. Don was also a derby winner from years past.

Second time surf fishing Kayli had these 9 pounds off of Center Street on bunker.




The boats finally got a nice day to fish the ocean. They are jigging and trolling to catch bass and bluefish. Some are still using clams and bunker to catch their bass.

Tim Andrews stopped by and said how pleased he was with Tony Majas # 2 bunker spoon and sent us a picture with his fish.
