Thurs Nov 4th
Thurs morning I will be no where near a computer so here is a little heads up on the condtions if the weatherman is telling the truth.
Rain after midnight with vsby lowering to 1 to 3 nm. Thurs E winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Rain with vsby 1 to 3 nm. Thu Night N winds around 15 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Rain with vsby 1 to 3 nm.
This morning I am at a tackle show shopping and I love to shop for fishing tackle and sometimes I get carried away.
The store is open from 8 - 4 so keep Gene busy weighing fish on this maybe rainy day.
Wed Nov 3rd
Scale is open till 2 pm
Fresh local bunker
This morning it is 44 degrees with a lite N wind. The ocean is 57. The weatherman had predicted NE wind for today but now I see they have changed it to SE.
Beautiful day----- too beautiful. Once again the flat ocean hasn't done much for the surfanglers. We have had one bass in that was caught during the night.
Yesterday there were bluefish and bass jigged a little north of Beach Haven.
Yesterday after seeing a bluefish for the first time in over a week I thought there would be more but only 1 hit my scale. Bass were the fish on the scale either from the boat on clams or eel or from the beach mainly on bunker. I never saw a fish over 20 pounds yesterday.
Tues Nov 2nd
As of 3:30 pm the wind is starting to move to the east.
A few bass have been weighed in shop to day with the C-Clam having 3 caught in the inlet. Their fish were 15- 20 pounds.

Rocky took some eels to the beach today and came back to weigh-in a 15-5 bass for the classic.

15- 14 for John Mason with his bass caught on bunker.

Finally a bluefish. I haven't seen one in over a week. Stanley Steinberg just weighed in a 11-9.
A couple of nice 30 some pound bass in today also.
At 3:30 this am it is 39 degrees with a NNW wind at 15. The ocean is 57.
Wind is suppose to drop out during the day and come to the NE.
We had a late bass come in last night caught by Pat. His fish weighed 21# and was caught on a bunker head. He said the only way he could keep bait on the hook was by using heads.
