Tues Nov 2nd

Fresh Bunker this am.

At 3:30 this am it is 39 degrees with a NNW wind at 15. The ocean is 57.

Wind is suppose to drop out during the day and come to the NE.

We had a late bass come in last night caught by Pat. His fish weighed 21# and was caught on a bunker head. He said the only way he could keep bait on the hook was by using heads. The crabs were terrible last night for everyone bait fishing.

Nov 1st

After having a couple of fish caught on the lower tide today it has been quiet on the beach except for the crab bite that is eating everyones bait. To the north of us Island Beach once again has bluefish. With tomorrows wind to the N and then NE maybe we will see some again.

Congratulations to all the winners in the Shell Tournament !!!

What a crew that was on the winning boat. Nice going Jim, Greg and John.

Cold windy morning.

It was nice seeing a lot of the Shell winners in the store this morning and getting to congratulate them in person. I think in all the years of the tour-nament this is the second one I have missed.

Temp this morning was 39 with an ocean temp of 59. N wind about 12.

A few fished weighed in this morning that were caught at dark last night. Dick Crosta 18 - 6 and Roger Weida 23-5 both caught fish in town.
