Happy St Patricks Day

Looks like a nice week-end coming up for us returning back to work. I have not heard of any fish on the from the beach but the power plant has had stripers all winter and now the last week or so they have some 2 pound bluefish.

The tides have been running high and even the flats on the mainland have been flooded over more than usual.

After such a cold winter there was no telling when we would see the first bass caught at graveling point but early evening on Tues there was a keeper caught there. It was about 10 days earlier than last year so maybe we will have an early start on the beach. Fresh bass dinner sounds pretty good.
