Our scale is open to 8pm

Tides are running high on the beach this am. Not much news from the early morning pluggers.

We have a weigh-in for the derby this morning. Carl weighed in this 15-13 bass caught on bunker at 8:10 am.

Small bluefish on the bunker along with a keeper fluke (if you could keep it). Kingfish are biting good again this morning . There was a 17 in red drum caught on a bucktail with a worm.

Water is 65 this am with a SW wind about 8. Air temp is 57.

High tide this is 9:23am

It is 5 am and the 56th Annual is started. Good luck to all of you fishing in it this year. Lots of special prizes have once again been added to the contest. Hope to see you at our scale.

Last weekend for seabass for a few weeks. We have green crabs in stock today for you those of you trying for the tog. Sod banks, jetties and always Barnegat Light are good places to try for them.

Plenty of Fresh bunker today along with clams.



Fri Oct 8th

Variety of fish caught today but all on the small size. Kingfish, spots, croakers and bluefish.

Bluefish are loving mullet with mullet rigs. Nice kingfish weighing 1-14 caught today. Mr Andrews had dozen nice kingfish.

A couple of anglers live lining spots had some nice fish on but not landed.

Good supply of fresh bunker in along with surf clams.

High tide today 8:35 am and 8:55pm.

Nice morning with a west wind about 10. Air temp is 52 and the water is 65.

Last day of sea bass is Oct 11th. Season reopens on Nov. 1st.

Store hours today are 7 - 4:30

Limited amount of Fresh Bunker just in. Hope they can find more tomorrow.

Croakers on the beach this morning for Bill. He moved from where he was and caught this 13 pound bass on clams on the beginning of the outgoing tide this am.
